Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
VU was an exceptional host who took really good care of us. We felt at home in his hotel. He's also a great cook! He personally was our tour guide through the Mekong Delta, town market and local business where we tasted different fruits, drinks and local specialties.
He arrenged the transportation to and from Mekong Delta.
Excellent place to relax surrounded by lovely staff.
We highly recommend to go.
The balcony by the river is the main stunning attribute of this accommodation! We loved seeing the boats drive by and relaxing just by the water. The interior decoration also provides a relaxing g vibe while the host is very helpful if you have questions.
Vu was a great host, he invited us with his own family to have lunch, he told us the main points of Cai Be to visit with the bicycle and he lend us some motorbikes. He was very warm and friendly. We requested to organize a boat tour through the Mekong which Vu organized and included also a smaller boat tour through the canals. The tour also included some small factories of different products in the local area.
The host was a great guide. Great location on a very green and lush island. Possibility to do many excursions alone or with the guide, on foot, bike and boat. Cooking together was fun. Beds were comfy. Pool was great the first day, then got murky.
GREAT HOST!
Really good food (homestyle/family style cooking) and they always feed you much more than you actually need 😄 some flexibility to cater to vegetarian options.
Helped to arrange for a boat tour at Mekong River with the host himself being your own guide! Very professional, warm and friendly (+ speaks v good English) so it was a great tour
