I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming bed and breakfast in La Paloma, Uruguay. Nestled just two minutes away from the beach, its location couldn't be more perfect. This hidden gem exudes a sense of coziness that I find truly luxurious. It's unassuming, relaxed, and immensely comfortable – everything I value in a getaway. Whether you're with family, a small group of friends, or enjoying some solo time like myself, this little haven is where you want to be.
For me this place was 10/10. The owners are so incredibly kind. I felt so much at home. And there was more to like: the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, breakfast was good, the location is only a few minutes walk from the beach. The city center is a bit further away but you can rent a bike at the hostel and reach the center easily in 15 a 20 min.
This hostel is the best I've stayed at so far in south America. Everything about the place was amazing - so eco friendly, and a really wholesome family vibe about the place. Also somehow the cheapest place we stayed at, so couldn't ask for more. Staff were always lovely, even though our Spanish was limited. Highly recommend
The hosts were extremely welcoming that made us feel at home. Everything was really clean, well maintained, very quiet in the middle of the nature. We were soaked in water and they even made sure when we arrived that the fire was cosily on. Great people, great place: highly recommend!!
The staff was really friendly, but we did not see them around a lot. The location of the hostel is perfect. The hostel is close to the beach and near the main street, but is still quiet with a beautiful garden. We could use the kitchen which had many facilities.
