great stay at Olive Startup House! Really enjoyed the community of startup founders and all the support from the House management. They helped to get the rental car, find a CPA, and other assistance needed for smooth entrance to the market

It was a quite and nice place to rest after work. A coffee machine available for guests in the kitchen helped me to start a day well. I'll be happy to stay here again if I return to Palo Alto/Stanford.

It is very spacious and well furnished indoors.
The WIFI snd appliances are good and the hosts were generous with cleaning materials, tra snd coffee.
There is a reasonably well stocked local grocery store and Alices Restaurant is within walking distance.
Great location, family owned and run (I think?), quiet, a comfortable bed, clean a refrigerator that worked and wasn't noisy, a microwave (which I didn't use, so this would be good for a short self-catering budget stay in Palo Alto). There's a small pool which I didn't use, but looks well-maintained and a nice arrangement, with a forested ravine bounding the hotel and giving the pool lounging area a surprisingly natural ambience from looking in.
Location was fantastic, and the host was nice and laid-back. I liked the idea of a hostel that could host entrepreneurs and provide for a place to network or get feedback for ideas. The backyard was spacious and beautiful; a great place for activities or just some quiet time alone.
