Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location and couple minute walk from Pleasure Pier. Very clean and well stocked, with lots of extras. Super communication with host and easy check in.
lockbox entry, good wifi, comfortable beds and couch. The pillows were good quality but VERY thick, making for a slightly difficult sleep (I acknowledge this may be personal preference). The house was clean and charming, although maybe too many doodahs for decoration that didn't add to the charms of the place.
Liked it a lot, although several minutes' drive from most activities in Galveston. Quiet neighbourhood and close to a nice beach.
It was convenient, quiet, very clean, nicely appointed (with new appliances) and easy to walk from and park at. There are some great cafe's nearby including the Sunflower, Mosquito and others. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with some older home in it. The water was close enough to walk to. The host readily responded when contacted several times. Air conditioning worked well, though we mostly turned it off and had the windows open as it was a nice time of year. Clean Towels amply provided.
Our time at the Coppersmith Inn was wonderful. Renee and Robert were great hosts and they made us feel at home in their beautiful inn! The breakfast for both days was exceptional!!! Renee is a gourmet cook! I would highly recommend the Coppersmith Inn and would go back in a heartbeat!
House incredible. Location too. Breakfast one of the best I’ve ever had. My best B&B experience along with staying in a historic ex geisha house in Kanazawa Japan. Great hosts too. Coffee and snack facilities classy too.
The location is perfect. Nice neighborhood.
Right around the corner from Pleasure Pier.
Restaurants and Chic Fila are within walking distance.
We used Uber to get around. Super cheap.
Our host gave us a bottle of wine, chocolate and waters. House instructions were very easy.
He was awesome and we felt very welcomed.
