Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The location was walking distance from our first vineyard. The breakfast was great. I really appreciated the hospitality. They were really great hosts. The property was fun. I would recommend others to visit.
The host Jimmy was so charming and entertained us for ages! They left prosecco and orange in a cooler, had flowers and snacks available and left jams, pickles etc etc for us to use as we wished. Jimmy even offered us a tour of the ranch but we were too tired to accept.
Sunset Inn is a nice and quiet motel, that seems to be one of the only independent (non-chain) accommodations left. Very friendly host, clean and quaint rooms. Bed was comfortable and overall very good value for the money. The diner next door had a big line on weekends for brunch, which is a good sign (we didn’t have time to try the food).
Cosy and clean. Perfect location, minutes away from Main Street. Quiet, perfect for a family and super dog friendly with the large back yard. The little swings were definitely a plus. A serene, clean and charming house. Moreover the Cozi team was responsive throughout in case we had any queries (we were late and just wanted to let them know).
Cute, quaint, recently renovated small hotel. The space was well-appointed, comfortable, and quiet plus close to all the restaurants and bars of Fredericksburg. Local coffee, water, and toiletries provided.
so charming and great location. A perfect little getaway in hill county and a big plus for the hot tub always being on so you don’t need to wait for it to heat up like some other properties. would stay here again 100%
