My staying was great! The apartment was clean, tide, and cozy.
Before my arrival I heard negative opinions about the neighborhood, however the host takes security seriously, I had my car and I felt calm knowing there was CCTV at the back parking lot.
The host was nice and friendly, I felt confused getting into the apartment, then I called her, she patiently guided me through the instructions.
I highly recommend you consider staying here.

The location was great! Close to transportation and there are stores and some places to eat nearby. The neighborhood is very quite and nice. The house was clean and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable.

Plenty of cleaning supplies, along with plenty of towels and toilet paper to spare. Bathtub is comfy and has anti slip mat for safety. Walk in shower was nice too and was clean. Comfy bed and came with a space heater to stay warm. Plenty of outlets to spare for charging devices even USB ports. Big fridge for groceries.

Tracy, the host, was incredible! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we had hoped for! She even had coffee, a fridge, stove, and microwave available.
And, the place is very cute, charming and clean. A great deal for the money for sure!
It’s also very close to UChicago, which was my target. I highly recommend this property!

Great location. Stayed here on my wife’s birthday trip. It’s a terrific boutique style hotel. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent, rooms very comfortable and a fantastic roof top bar.
Downside was the a/c unit is quite noisy in room and we weren’t told we had to reserve the outside roof top bar. Nothing that was a major issue though. We would certainly consider using the hotel again.
Great location - if you’re visiting Chicago don’t stay in downtown, it’s a ghost town after 6pm and you’ll spend half your time getting out of there! Definitely stay North and at this hostel :) Comfiest bed ive ever had in a hostel, wonderful staff and amazing location
The hostel was clean and walking distance to downtown and the train station. There was a complementary breakfast and there are lots of areas in the hostel to relax/quiet spaces to work.
We only stayed for two nights, but we would have loved to stay longer. The hotel has a charming retro flair that captivated us right from the beautifully designed hotel lobby. The entire hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A 24/7 coffee and tea bar rounded off the relaxed and cozy hotel experience. The neighborhood is also very quiet and pleasant.
An amazing apartment, fully equipped with lots of added extras. Location was great, short walk to the train to go into city centre and to local restaurants. Very quiet neighbourhood. Host was very friendly and helpful. Even provided coffee, tea and snacks for us to have.
Very charming, maybe a little dated, hotel close to old town Chicago. Fantastic personnel, Good alternatives for breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel. Amazing roof top bar! Very good location if you don´t need to stay in the city center. Good and cheap public communication. Close to the beach! Close to the Zoo! All in all good for everybody!
