The hotel was very good. We were in a handicapped accessible room since it was not required by anyone during our stay, so the room and bathroom were both a lot larger than expected. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was less than a ten minute walk to Times Square and the Port Authority. The breakfast was OK as it was the same continental breakfast each of the three days, so more variety would have been appreciated. There is a nice rooftop patio on the 5th floor, with some beautiful views, although on the night we were there, the patio lights had not been turned on after sunset. The hotel is attached to a bar, which was not an issue until Thursday night as the bar had an outside patio, right beneath our room. The patio was not open on the first two nights of our stay, so it's worth asking when it is open during the week. It was not noisy when we returned around 11, but during the summer months, I would expect that it would be busy. Great small hotel.

Really superb location and excellent price. Room and facilities are relatively basic but if you don't mind that and are on a budget then this is an excellent choice.
Check-in is done remotely and no check-in staff on site but we arrived early and one of the cleaners was really helpful in letting us leave our bags safely until check-in time.

The location was quite convenient going to Manhattan. It's the only advantage of booking this property. There are bus stop and train station just across the property.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The location was accommodating considering the purpose of the stay. Staff was easy to reach and always available to communicate when needed. It's nice to know there's a gem like Morris Guest House in the Bronx.
We were very impressed with the hotel from the staff checking us in to the quick service when requesting extra towels. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was much more than just pastries and coffee. They had all types of pastries, bagels, muffins, bread to toast, a juice machine with a variety of juices, a coffee machine also with a variety of choices, fresh fruit, and yogurt.
The hotel was a wonderful oasis in a slightly frayed round the edges area but was less than 200m from the subway station. The rooms were cleaned when we wanted them; staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a filling continental buffet. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was on tap. The water was hot. Heating worked well. The room was quiet. The building was once a theatre where Houdini and the Marx Brothers performed. Commuting was not too long - 30 minutes to Manhattan.
I like tv cable and WiFi too in rooms and mini refrigerator and no microwave too. It great location closer to highway lots plus bus transportation also only have 30 min away to metro subway too !! Good of vendors machine
This is a perfect hotel. We liked the breakfast. During the days the coffee was free. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a quiet room. Well cleaned every day. This was a good vacation for us.
Outstanding hotel! Staff are very friendly and helpful, room facilities are great, bed is comfortable and excellent wifi connection. Certainly one of the best options for business travel in New York City. The hotel's restaurant hosts a lively bar with DJing on weekend evenings, which is a welcome addition!
A new and clean hotel, tastefully done and in a great location near the subway. Quiet rooms and friendly and caring staff, I would recommend this hotel without a doubt.
The evening dj set with lots of clients from outside the hotel really made it a fun place to stay!
