Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Clean and comfortable room.
Quiet location not far from the center. On a busy road but there was no noise.
Lots of good restaurants and stores nearby.
Thankfully there was an elevator to the 2nd floor!
Great location for my needs, near supermarket so being able to prepare simple meals in the kitchen was great. Bed was really comfortable and the apartment had some nice charm with the exposed brick wall.
Great hotel, out the way so it's nice and quiet but no too out the way that it is inconvenient, we stayed here and went to Barber Motorsports Park which is a short scenic drive. The hotel was comfortable and clean with local shops and fast food places a short drive.
Luxurious linens and big comfy bed. Quiet for sleeping. Beautifully furnished. Lots of unexpected extras for our use should we need them, thank you. Very quick helpful response from management when room door entry code didn’t work, someone arrived on site to check it and we were issued new code. Well equipped kitchen. Also Pizza and pasta restaurant/ order to go located by front door of building, convenient and tasty. Washing machine great to have. And a free parking pass a great service thank you.
The hotel was in the new nicest area of Birmingham, away from the city centre which is very unwelcoming and to be avoided other than to visit the civil rights institute and little else. There is a very nice shopping mall near the property (a few minutes by car) with good restaurants and shops (and it is safer than Birmingham, which isn't).
Seem to be a great location and all. Had great selection for food around the immediate area and the general appearance was nice.
