Esther welcomed us to the beautiful Hotel 256. The room was beautiful and very clean. The dining and are were also lovely. The food prepared by the chef was the best we've had in Uganda. The hospitality really was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just a bit basic. No bed side light so had to turn off light by door and struggle in dark to find bed!

Great location; quietness, and accessibility to all other facilities like retail shops, pharmacies, clinics/hospitals, supermarkets and the main Kampala Entebbe Road which can easily connect one to the city centre and the airport. Great support from the hosting staff Mr Keith and all other people taking care of the property.
The stay was perfect. Fred and Winnie are great hosts. I arrived without my luggage and they asked me if I needed things and bought me some necessities. The setting is very beautiful, the house very secure, it is quite far from the center of Kampala which allows you to be quiet. Do not hesitate to book.
