They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful hotel in the city center with so big and comfortable rooms. Stuff is very friendly and helped with all issues we had. Breakfast was on the roof top terrace, really a special experience. Only minus is that hotel has very bad sound isolation and you can hear basically everything. Walls are so thin, we were not able to sleep from the noises coming even from corridor.
The whole experience from communcation with the host to the cleanness of the apartment and accommodations and flexibility allowing me to change my dates at the apartment was not only pleasant but comfortable. The host, Inna answered questions and requests quickly and kindly. I would highly recommend this comfortable apartment in Lutzk!
A clean and quiet hotel outside the city center but close enough to everything.
Hotel room really clean. There was no noise from the neighboring room or from the street. The hotel has a really cozy restaurant where the food is really good and affordable for the Finnish price level. The hotel area is a park-like forest and the restaurant has cozy garden canopies where you can eat dinner. Very cozy. Breakfast was a buffet, which was good considering the price level.
This hostel is fantastic. It looks brand new, impeccably clean and slick. It has works of local artists on the walls, and there is plenty other cool art to explore around it. Because its on the outskirts of town, its also very quiet. A true gem, and for such a low price.
