Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very reasonable breakfast in comperison of the cost.Close to the beach, around 300 meters or so from the property. Friendly and flexible host Mr.Ismael.Quite and Isolated place. The Tanzanian meal was also very timely and delicious, fresh fish from the nearby fish market.Fresh juice from fruits from the garden managed by the host within the compound. At the upper floor we experienced a nice wind from the ocean. It is a simple place but served our purpose and we plan to be back there again for more days.
It was exceptional ,very welcoming and good vibe atmosphere from our hosts. Lucky me coz I experienced a feeling that I have been missing it for some time, surely it's a home stay at times I felt like family.
Nice and peaceful location. A short walk to the main road and not far to town. Good hosts and meals, specially appealing to my Tanzanian partner!!. Hosts went out of their way to get me cereal for breakfast when I wasn't up to a full breakfast. The host Ismal offered a day trip to Saadani National park and a trip to Lushoto which was an amazing experience, a completely different side to Tanzania!!
Everything was good.... Excellent I just don't know how to explain.... I absolutly blessed.... I loved the hosts... U are all kind guys wish to come again❤❤
We liked everything! The staff was very kind and helpful. We were like at home! The room was very big and clean. The equipment and the common areas were fantastic. The location was perfect for us, in a quiet place and not so far walking to the center of the village.
Brilliant Attentive Host Always With A Smile And Always Happy To Help At All Times
Great Wifi Connection The Whole Stay
Amazing Value For Money
Clean And Tidy Throughout The Property
This was my second time staying at this lodge and I came to realize that there's a lot of renovation taking place like the furniture, amenities, and internet, the rooms were so clean and very comfortable, and the staff (Noel) was incredibly helpful, Amazing rooms (there was even a Flat TV and Free Wi-Fi now), and the internet was very good with 5G speed. Excellent location is located at the city center, at an affordable price in which is very cheap.
I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Bagamoyo.
It is a great area for people who are looking for piece and quiet. The view from the terrace/bar is amazing. Real back to basic place with a warm welcoming host. Didnt try the breakfast as I was there only one night and heading for an early safari.
We had an amazing stay here! Ismail, the host, was helpful with all the questions we had. His wife is a great chef, we ate all 3 meals of the day with them. She even prepared us lunch to take with us for our safari in the Saadani National park. Even their 2 year old son is already a great host.
We chose this place because it's only a 1h drive away from the Saadani National Park. Furthermore there's a beautiful beach in walking distance and Bagamoyo is a lovely village.
