I only have good things to say about this place. The location is simply perfect: we decided to stop to eat in a shop at the street market, and when searching for the hostel, it was right in front of us.
The room we stayed was very comfortable and with a beautiful view to the mountains.
The lady in charge of the hostel was so gentil that she gave us to try the baked donuts they prepare and sell on the first floor (apparently they are famous because they always had a loot of people buying!). We were not only happy with the room, but also touched by her kindness.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. We felt like we were right in nature.
Breakfast is delivered to your door at the time requested each morning. It is traditional Chinese style breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Amazing view and lovely communal area to sit and watch the mist, mountains and wildlife. The room was spacious and clean.

Very clean & modern and the elevator is a huge plus! Comfortable beds, pillows and linen that are of above-average quality. Most hotel-like Minsu I’ve come across. Ms Lee was a most welcoming & enthusiastic host! The helpers are also very kind to heat up our food and make us extra fruit when we were having a take-out dinner at the end of a long day of trekking. Felt very well taken care of during our 3 nights stay!
We were looking for a quieter alternative to Alishan and this was perfect! The area had beautiful hikes and we were able to have them basically to ourselves. The cabin was super cozy and it was a lovely place to relax for a few days. The owners are very friendly and the food was great too! We took the bus from Chiayi one direction and a taxi the other way, so you have options depending on your budget. Definitely recommend
Great location surrounded by pretty tea plantations. The host was super helpful with tips for exploring the surrounding areas as well as preparing extra meals and offering tea tasting.
