Misto B&B surprised me a lot during my trip with how good it was. The place is themed around family and kids, and it shows on how much care was put on keeping it clean and tidy. The room was spacious and comfortable, and so were the common areas. The owner was super attentive and nice, and would help us a lot, even calling us on a few occasions to ask things about our stay.

The owner was very kind and friendly, always making sure we had snacks and drinks. She also helped us book our tickets for the ferry to go to green island as we don't speak Mandarin.
The space is in a quiet neighborhood and is very clean. It is a few minutes away from the train station. A tasty breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, assorted breads and steamed buns is served every morning. Snacks and beverages are also available for guests at anytime. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for having us!

It was convenient to get to the train and bus stations. The guesthouse is clean, neat and gave a sense of home. The friendly hosts were prompt in responding to our requests.
It was also commendable that the guesthouse adopts many environmentally-friendly practices such as separating trash into recyclables and non-recyclables.
The hostel was clean and felt very welcoming. We had two nice and quiet nights. We could use the hostel bikes for free, which meant that we could get to the city center in only 7 minutes. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
This homestay is truly fantastic! Our host, who speaks English very well, helped us with so many things like arranging a rental car, giving us advice how to get to the islands near Taitung or even providing us some Aloe Vera soothing lotion after we got sunburnt. The rooms are clean and nice, with balconies and there is a fully ecquipped kitchen if you need it. Also the homestay is located amazingly as it is near the beach and the city centre but still in a quiet neighbourhood. Big recommendation!
