The boss and the lady boss are very friendly. Second day morning I was stuck in the rain while trying to go to their cafe, the lady boss saw and offered to drive me over. The breakfast was really nice too, even though it took a bit long to came because they were serving the other customers first.

Friendly and helpful owner and staff, neat and tidy, only guest quiet, free water refill (cold, warm and hot), common fridge, freezer and clothes rack, near restaurants, shops, the sea, and the port. The owner exchanged for me Chinese yuan into Taiwanese dollars using the market rate.

Hosts are very friendly and helpful! They would inform guests where you may watch the "blue tear" every night. Also car renting service is awesome for guests who don't ride motorcycles. And the facilities are rather modern and new, comfy bed mattress; the hostel is generally quite and clean. I'm happy about my stay!

Great location, right along the seaside. Within walking distance of some tourist areas, but not busy or noisy. Our room (3 person) had not only beds but also a sitting area for us to lounge in. The owners were wonderful; drove us to/from the airport and harbor, helped us rent scooters, shared the history/culture of the island, prepared excellent and big breakfasts, came to our door to let us know when the "blue tears" appeared in the bay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the Matsu Islands.

The family were so kind and helpful, they really made this trip memorable. The property is beautifully located in a quiet (somewhat remote) village. The room was clean and comfortable, with gorgeous shuttered windows. The motorcycle we rented from the owners was new and in very good condition, perfect for driving around the hilly island safely. The owners kindly offered free pick up and drop off service from the airport and port. We enjoyed drinking homemade coffee on the veranda in the sunshine. We had a great stay!

This guesthouse was a great find. It was one of the cheapest options available, but the owner was extremely kind and accommodating. She picked us up at the airport, dropped us off at the harbor, picked us up a the harbor, then dropped us off at the airport again. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are food options nearby.

Great location. It is near the harbor so you can go anywhere in matzu from here. The hostel is extremely clean and most of the facilities that you expect to see for a hostel, it is there. The bad is comfortable and big enough for a single solo traveler. There is also a warm public space for talking and the host is friendly and very helpful to provide local information for travel. You can also rent a motorcycle on the spot.
