We were doing bike touring and had to leave our luggage at the accommodation prior to our visit. The staff happily obliged. The room was well equipped and had a fantastic balcony with ample hangers to dry our clothes after the tour. Amenities were extremely functional and clean.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Located in a quiet part of the city, the host was very helpful and the rooms were very large with huge balcony. Street parking was easy to find, the breakfast option was a nice touch although it wasn't at the property itself. Around the corner from a very large and busy night market selling food, clothing and other items.
The best place to stay when in Hualien, if you are looking for a hostel with great international community, this is the place to go! Friendly staff that will do almost anything to make your stay perfect! Dorm is quiet most of the time, but you can chat all evening or play guitar and draw in the lobby. Very good coffee! There is a fridge to keep stuff cool. Can't really do cooking but there is good places to eat nearby. Don't expect a hostel for partying. But there is KTV and bars nearby.
A great host, a great place full of green space and nature. Pim is a proactive and efficient host coming with good recommendations and places to visit. The room is good and big with a comfortable terrace with a tree and a garden. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY.
The host was extremely accommodating. He introduced us to the attractions as well as the area's bus schedules, as GMap wasn't the most accurate. The bus station is just nearby to the minsu, with direct buses to the city centre, and to the night market area, so we were able to get around Hualien very easily. We were able to store our baggage both before checking in and after checking out. The room was really spacious, clean and quiet. There was a lift, so we didn't have to worry about lugging our bags around.
Large room in a guesthouse which was very quiet, new and well appointed building. Host was very easy to contact at all times. Liked it so much that we extended our stay a night.
Cozy little hostel with very nice and welcoming staff. The location in between the train station and city center makes it easy to get around. The price was absolutely fine, actually very cheap for the offered quality. Good common area downstairs.
This place is absolutely great, charming and cosy. The building looks like new, probably recently renovated. Located in a small quiet street. Great value for money and a feeling of high quality standard. Welcoming and helpful host. I really recommend this place that I will definitely book again if I go back to Hualien. And I think I'll go back to Hualien ;-)
Great hostel in Hualien! Very comfy beds, quiet and clean room + washroom. No real socializing area - it's more like a hotel but with dorm rooms. It's also right by the bus station - consider whether you want to stay by the station or downtown (closer to the night market).
