The location was great. It's right across from a train station, near a bus station, the old streets, and the lovely river. The room was a good size, but no outside windows.

The location is perfect - it’s right by the beach! Just walk thru the ground floor lounge area and down the stairs - voilá! you’re right on the beach.
If the weather was too sunny or anything needed in the house, simply go back to the cozy place n staying in ac room with an ocean view tub. Ideal for getaway trip!
Full kitchen bar on the ground floor - though they don’t provide food/breakfast, we enjoyed in using the kitchen once in a while to make our meals.
May Rooms Taipei Main Station is located in the downtown area of Taipei with overlooking the historical North Gate and the General Post Office.

Clean, modern and well designed, good amount of space, and located near the train station and food. (Tip: the Chinese chiropractor, not the massage parlour, just opposite, is very good).
Cheaper than staying in central Taipei but connected by mrt (about 45 mins).
Tamsui is a lovely place to be in - lovely coastal views (just 5 mins walk from the residence), great food options, much less crowded and noisy than central Taipei.
Staff were helpful and prompt with their replies.
Great location in a little cute alley near the station and all other conveniences. The place is spacious, clean, the beds are super comfortable and super equipped. I absolutely recommend everyone and I will definitely come back. The hosts are so kind and the check in and door system is superb.
Room is clean, comfortable and spacious with a great view of the city and Tamsui River. It was a surprise that the breakfast buffet is included in the price which has a lot of varieties, really cheap for a nice hotel!
