The hostess was super kind and helpful. She and her husband helped me to rent an e-bike which I used to tour the island. She also waited for me to change money to pay the room fee. I could also use the washing machine for free.
The host was absolutely friendly and she even helped me with renting a scooter. It’s not too much, but definitely worth the price! Clean, tidy, everything what one needs. The shared bathrooms were more than okay as well. Next time in Kinmen I will come again!
I’ve spent here a week and I will definitely come back on my next trip to Kinmen. Charming traditional house in a lovely village close to the bus stop. Quiet,
cosy and comfortable, with a selection of books, brochure and even taiwanese music cds to listen in the living room. The host is extremely kind and helpful and I can definitely recommend Kivala to every traveler in Kinmen.
Very friendly host, who gave us a free lift to the airport. Delicious coffee for breakfast. The property and the village are traditional style, exactly what we were expecting.

Hostess was extremely friendly and helpful helpful with sightseeing recommendations, and she even ordered breakfast based on our preferences. She was also solicitous and very responsive to any of our requests.
The rooms are clean with brand new interiors. The bathroom is clean and spacious.
This location is ideal if you have rented a car because parking is easy, and it is away from the noise and congestion in the larger town, while still being minutes from most of the attractions of the island.
Both Host are wonderful, very welcoming and everything was so clean and well decorated.
The location is very quiet and peaceful.
I highly recommend this place for everyone want to have a great experience in Kinmen!
Absolutely wonderful place. A charming, well maintained place with courtyard and various rooms to explore - almost like staying in a museum. The host was superb - helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. We were worried about whether the room might be noisy, but we had no complaints whatsoever. There was a large breakfast with various Kinmen dishes, all served in the room of our choosing. The local area is fascinating to wander around in the evening, too. Can't speak highly enough of this stay.
