the couple who ran it were unfailingly lovely and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and homemade and it definitely made a difference. It was also quiet where we were even though it was close to the center. The place was also really clean.

If you are traveling by car then this is the place to stay! Bozcaada has a quaint town full of restaurants then 5km on is Defne Bag Evi. This is a real gem honestly the best stay of our 3 weeks in Turkey. The room tastefully furnished modern with a rustic twist. The view is vines then the sea.Peace and tranquility! Emil our host was super. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was spectacular with homegrown organic jams etc.
Breakfast at Vasilikis Tenedos was really plentiful and tasty. Host should tell guests in advance that the restaurant is a 15min walk away. Having your own car highly useful. Overall location not far from central town is pleasing as quiet and it offers a nice garden surrounding.

The hotel is so cosy, small, clean, like a sweet little greek house, with flowers on the window, clean bathrooms, very very welcoming host, located on a quiet paved old street. It is only 5 mins by walk from the centre, 10 mins away from the fortress and 5 mins away from the open free parking. 15 mins car ride to Ayazma beach. Breakfast is nice, home cooked and served on the top of the hotel with incredible view over Bozcaada and the see. We definitely recommend and will come back again.
