Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
perfect location for troya. 100m from the museum and 1km from the site. fantastic quiet place amongst the green park. great owner with loads of info. AC worked great. very acomodating, helped us make ice overnight plus very late check in free of charge. nice balcony. parking great. all good! bravo!
This pension/hostel is conveniently located just steps away from Troy. You can easily walk to the site without the need for tourist buses or additional transportation. Nearby, you'll find a delightful breakfast spot. The small town behind the pension is charming, friendly, and offers stunning views from its highest point, where you could happily spend hours admiring the landscape.
Excellent location: 10 minutes walk to the excavation sites and right opposite to the museum of Troy. The host is very hospitable. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about Troy. Conversations with him are informative and entertaining. It’s an exceptional place to stay for anyone interested in the legend and history of Troy.
The owner is fabulous. He's friendly and welcoming. One of the first things he said was that he'll help with our onward travel. That is very comforting to independent travellers like us without a car and relying on public transport. He provided us with lunch on very short notice which we were very thankful for. The accommodation is ideal as it is opposite the museum and a short walk to the archaeological site. We highly recommend a stay at the Troia Pension.
Great location for visiting Troy which balances out the basic facilities, and it’s perfect for an overnight stay before or after visiting the ancient site. Our host was polite and accommodating.
Straight across the street from Troia museum, and 500 meters from the ruins, the location is excellent. The hosts are very friendly, and the home cooked food is tasty. Free on-site parking is a nice bonus.
It is exactly as advertised. It is a basic pension directly across the road from the Troy Museum (maybe 200m walking) and quite close to the Troy ruins (maybe 700m walking). It is a family run business and the owner is there every day during business hours.
The owner is lovely. A great, chatty man. No problems there.
