- Super friendly staff that feels like a family (LOVEEED THEM)
- Very calm
- Comfy and cozy
- Amazing location right near Djerbahood
- Clean
- Delicious breakfast with varieties and great ingredients
- Even when fully booked, you won’t find more than 8-10 people (2 to 4 gathered at the same time)

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Our stay was excellent! Gerard is a wonderfully friendly and welcoming host. The property is beautifully designed with delightful details throughout. It’s also impeccably clean and has a very homely atmosphere.
We had an awesome time at the Wostel! Everyone was really kind and welcoming and it was fun to hang out with the guys from the hostel. Djerba is a really cool island and the hostel was in Djerbahood which was a really good location, would recommend for everyone and if we go back to Tunisia we would definitely stay there again:)
Great hostel with the loveliest people running it. Very friendly and they all went out of their way to accommodate and make my stay an unforgettable one. Pauline took us to the station in the middle of the night to make sure we got safe to our taxi. The guests were also amazing and like minded. Recommend it.
Very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff and hosts always organising activities together with guests like dinners and even joining in on tours to ensure an optimal experience. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, both for my person and my belongings in the neighbourhood, the common spaces of the house as well as in the dormitory.
The location was very good
Staff was very welcoming and friendly
Breakfast was very good and the host talked to us every morning about specialities that he cooked for us. He also recommended good plans in the island
Gerard, the owner is absolutely charming and in love with Djerba. He runs a lovely, modern tunisian style Dar in the middle of Djerbahood, tells stories and makes the best french toast from his grandma's receipe. The house is really cozy and we love the details. The little swimming pool is a huge relieve on hot summer days.
Gerard is a great host- stay at dar bibinne, you will be happy!
