The hotel was perfect for our trip. It was close to the train station and we used the hotel guest bikes to get to the historic park. The host recommended a local restaurant for vegetarian food, and this was a great choice, within walking distance.

The room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The guest house was immaculately clean and tidy. It did feel warm as home. The personnel were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was provided, which was a big plus. The location of the hostel is on quiet road, at only 15-minute walk from Wat Mahathat. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.
We absolutely loved staying here. The staff were amazing, the location perfect for sightseeing, the bike hire was very cheap, there was free hot and cold water, the included breakfast was incredible! Our three children had the loft and it was just lovely. Very quirky and quaint. The standard double room we had was very nice. The aircon worked well in both rooms. Fridges in both rooms. Food was easily accessible in any direction from the guesthouse. It was very close to the night market for dinner.
Great location just next to one of the ruin-parts of Ayutthaya. Comfy, great host, spontaneous chance to get the 1 motorbike to rent for the day. Great service.
We had a lovely stay. The host was great, he gave us an overview of the area as well as booking us a boat tour and our transfer to Kanchanaburi for the next morning. We arrived at 5am from the train and were able to drop our bags off and use the toilets/ shower etc as check in wasn't til 12. There was hot water in the shower. Some drinking water was provided but more bottles and breakfast were also available to buy cheaply. The guesthouse was a 1 minute walk away from the station and didn't feel unsafe arriving.
Lovely host very spontaneously picked us up from the train station and drove us to the guesthouse (it's not even a 10min walk but GMaps didn't know you could cross the train tracks towards east that smoothly), made us breakfast and (freshly manually grinded us) coffee and even let us have a shower after we checked out already after a long, sunny, city exploring day before our bus ride. The double bed room is definitely spacious enough and the AC is doing its (not too quiet) work.
Lovely rustic spot with great host. Breakfast was very good and we hired a scooter from the hotel for getting around.

We like the proximity of the home stay to the historical district of Ayutthaya, the service of the guesthouse - a fresh fruit breakfast each morning, despite the fact that there is no breakfast option to book, the tuktuk service to the train station and the availability of cheap bike rental. It is in a quiet are with a very great restaurant and coffee shop just steps away from the hostel. It has been our second stay at Baan Kong and certainly not the last one!
