Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We stayed in two separate bungalows for one night before an early flight to Bangkok the next morning. The rooms and bathrooms were perfectly clean, AC and fridge worked well, everything was great. The location is lovely and quiet, but the owner provides you with a scooter to access town for some groceries or something to eat, which was very generous. There was even a trampoline there for the kiddies. A simple breakfast and a ride to the airport were also free. Thank you to Win who was a very lovely and friendly host :)
This place is outstanding. Spotlessly clean, excellent value for money and a 4 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Also it is located on its own and is therefore quiet at night.
The property is quite nice; old Thai style buildings but seemingly well-maintained. Very relaxed spot. We thought the place was charming. The rooms were big and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The area outside of our room was nice near the beach. The food in the restaurant was decent. Overall, not a bad overnight stay for a stop between the pier and the airport.
Perfect, quiet location just across the small road to a fantastic beach.
Breakfast is served in the beachfront restaurant. Beach towels and sun loungers also included. We had a budget room at the rear of the hotel but next time it has to be a seaview room. Friendly staff and parking direct in front of the hotel. Perfect.
Location ideal for those going to the airport. Cheap and clean. Wonderful host, who cooked us tasty food and dropped us off at the airport for free. Would recommend.
