The bungalows are cute and the small beach of the hotel is nice for a relaxing morning, although you can’t swim due to its shallowness.

It’s a great value for money. It is the lowest price you can find for the value it provides. It is oceanfront. It has a restaurant and laundry service and friendly staff. Fan rooms are doable since you don’t stay there during daytime. With that being said there is just one thing to note ( at the time of this writing). The toilets don’t come with flush knob. So, you must do the old fashioned way ( fill a bucket and flush) which is doable once you get used to it. They have tenants that’ve lived there for months. They provide tp’s. 😁👍. Their fruit shakes are pretty good as well. 👍 And within 3 min walk is 7/11, cafes, fried chicken place and intersection to take the local transport anywhere on the island.

The owners, Neena & Mr Magic (who is a decorated Magician, by the way) were just the 2 greatest people I met throughout my long trip.
Neena has all the love in the world to give, and will be ready to offer you anything you need for a comfortable, chill, relaxed stay.
Mr Magic, the husband of Neena and just the greatest supervisor, not only showed me magic tricks upon my arrival, but always had a friendly conversation to bring up to make you smile.
The bungalow was so cute, and wholesome, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it overflowed my cup with love. It has a cute little sitting area outside it where I spent everyday in deep conversation and healing. Not to mention, there's a Muay Thai training arena right next to it, where you can satiate your MMA needs! I did!
OH! Did I mention it has MINI GOLF?! In addition to the choice beverages and happy greens, it will fill your days will peace and tranquility. Love to Mr Magic & Miss Neena forever...I will see them again.

It located a minute walk from all the bars and restaurants and it's in the heart of everything you need, and yet very quiet and peaceful for a good night sleep even during full moon. Marissa was the nicest and helped with everything I needed, without even asking she recommended things that improved my stay and offered early check in and late check out upon availability although I didn't need it.
You can use the gym and pool around the place which was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Looooved this hostel. Very nice social and chill. Staff very friendly. A lot of comfortable seats in the living room and outside (hammocks, cushions, chairs). In front of the beach for a little swim (even tho the sand is not the best with corals). Possible to use mats for yoga. Pool table. Close to cheap and good locals restaurants in town. Clean (the staff team cleans every morning).
My getaway to this island was made even more special by my stay at this hostel. The rooms are comfortable and always impeccably clean, which is essential for me when I travel. Additionally, the atmosphere here is simply great: you can feel the party vibe in every corner, but there are also quiet spaces to relax. Safety is a clear priority, with well-implemented measures that made me feel protected at all times. Definitely a place to enjoy the best of both worlds: relaxation and fun.
Great location to explore all parts of the island. Garden bungalow very large and has everything you need. Owner very lovely. Good and very cheap local restaurant next door.
staff were really friendly, great social area in this hostel & such a nice place with it right on the beach. can chill in the hostel or just outside on the beach. really social & great for solo travellers, felt comfortable & safe the whole time. staff were friendly & food from the restaurant was tasty & cheap!
Absolutely loved our stay at Yangyai. It’s quiet with a beautiful surrounding, the facilities are great and the hygiene is top notch. To top it off, Ping is a great host :) highly recommended!

Location was good. Many free activities you can do (Gym, Basketball, volleyball, football..). Every day a different party theme. Shared bathroom was clean (staff cleaned multiple times). Close to a 7/11. Through the day it was quite quiet and they turn off the music around 12 or 1am.
Great hostel if you want to have a party everyday.
Pot is a great host and helped us sort everything. Great location on beach close to amenities but still very tranquil. Bungalow was spot on with good facilities and excellent value for money. Motorbike rented and sorted out taxi and boat tickets. Breakfast eggs were simple but perfect and range of cold drinks stocked. Pool is lovely and very clean.
