The hotel and facilties are new and clean but the room is small and garden is not ready. No place to sit outside and shower takes a long time to get to rapid. Wifi is good though and its a 7 minute walk to the beach. All in all OK hotel but overpriced.

This is paradise to stay in. If I could give more than 10 points, I definitely would. Great staff who went the extra mile to help and service us.

Super friendly and helpful staff, great pool, good location, close to el Tunco beach (5 minutes of a walk). You can do laundry there. They offer a coffee maker and possibility to cook something.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
excellent value for money. Kike was a great host, very attentive. it felt more like an airbnb than a room because we could make full use of the facilities - great kitchen, pool, outdoor space, washing machine. very private in a gorgeous area.
A really welcoming, friendly hostal where you can pick up the nice local vibe. Great location, walking distance from the beach. We loved the swimming pool to cool off in and the nice green garden around it. Our son had lots of fun in it. The owner and his crew make some amazing tacos as well. As for the facilities, there was Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the rooms.
The property is well located, in a very quiet beach, absolutely perfect for a retreat away from any hustle and bustle. The property itself is very clean with a load of hammocks to relax in. The pool is an absolute dream and a perfect place to cool down from the El Salvadoran heat. The kitchen is well stocked and a great place to cook in from. Overall it’s a fantastic hostel with a great vibe and run by a really lovely family.
Great family hostel , very easy to meet chill people. Close to a beautiful and quiet beach to surf or relax. Nice hosts and cool hammocks. Also great cheap food options close.
Mark and Xenia were great hosts - very friendly and welcoming, and able to give lots of information about the local area and El Salvador in general. It's easy to travel to the bigger nearby surf centres, such as El Zonte and El Tunco, but the local beach is arguably nicer for bathing and hanging out with decent reasonably priced places to eat overlooking the sea.
El Palmarcito is very quiet but if you wanna surf or visit the beaches I can highly recommend the Hammock Plantation. You can easily catch buses or hitchhike from the main street to get to El Tunco, El Zonte or El Szunzal for example. Or even enjoy the Beach directly in Palmarcito.
The hostel owner are the sweetest and help you anytime if you have questions or need something. Thank you Xenia & Mark for an amazing time!! :)
