Due to train delays we arrived 2 hours after check-in officially ended. We phoned the hotel, and the lady not only waited for us, but when we finally arrived welcomed us very warmly! Thanks to the great staff we felt extremely well here.
Apart from that: breakfast was delicious, the view from the balcony very nice; very quiet neighbourhood, although near the railway station (from there it's only a walk of 5 minutes)

The location was great, only around 5 - 7 minutes walk from the train station. It was quiet when the balcony was closed but the road down was rather noisy even at night. The noise of the stream in the woods was bearable after the first night.
Finding the penzion was easy too, it's right next to a bus stop too. :)
The bathroom was clean and very nice, and the facilities were wonderful. We loved the open buffet breakfast! A nice selection of vegetables too, though I wouldn't mind extra leafy greens such as iceberg lettuce or a Romain lettuce to add a variety. Good for vegetarians, but not for vegans.
The people who owned the penzion were very nice and friendly.

Vila Kamila is a beautiful guest house with wonderful hosts. The rooms are gorgeous - the 1st floor is easier to access and has coffee, tea and a kettle for guests to use. Breakfast is definitely worth the money. Best of all, the hosts always have time for a friendly chat. For anyone planning a holiday in the mountains, the price is a fraction of the cost of accommodation in Strbske Pleso and the train between the two towns costs 1 Euro.

Even though we only stayed one night, for us it was great!
The place has a very cozy feel to it and is in a nice quiet area. I recommend it! The host is kind and very welcoming, he waited for us to check-in late, around midnight. We had access to the fridge in the public space and got free coffee early in the morning. The room and the bathroom were very clean, even the air in the room smelled fresh. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back for hiking in the Tatra mountains.
Great location - the train station, a store and a few bistros are aprox. a 7 minute walk from the property and theres also a beautiful meadow behind the house with a beautiful view of the mountains. Also, Zuzana is a great host - has wonderful recomendations for food places, hiking trails etc.
