The view was amazing and the host very friendly and accommodating as we were arriving quite late. The rooms were very clean and the common area neat and well kept with a variety of drinks and local products for purchase.

Location was easy to find, very close to Dolny on one side and the Castle on the other. The Orava region is amazing.
The room was clean, smelled good, towels clean. It was very quiet.
We did not speak the same language, but we communicated very well with Mr. Forgáč and he helped us with extra requests, even though he didn't have to.
We felt like we had freedom to feel like home. The place is small, simple, but cosy..
It is perfect for travellers who want to explore the mountains and connect with the nature. Definitely not for the ones used to room service. A great place for bikers.

Huge room with lots of places to sit, lots of storage, water boiler, nice shower with a tub... building is really cool and historic, owners are extremely friendly and speak English/Polish as well as Slovak. Good breakfast.

it was quiet street, the room was spaceous, clean and really nice decorated. the living room and kitchen are shared, but were clean, very nice and modern with touch of rustic! loved the style! the personal was nice, friendly and always with smile!

Exceptional place! Everything was perfect: the place, facilities, cleanliness, car parking in front of the building, friendly host, fast WiFi)) And the town itself very nice, a castle just 5 min walk, mountains and lots of restaurants.

This is a superb and very comfortable apartment in the very center of tiny, quiet Oravsky Podzamok. We could see Orava Castle from our room and of course it was a short way to walk there or anywhere else in town. You can park your car easily in front of the building. The host is nice and friendly and met us in a second as soon as we called.
What can I say except 10/10 for my stay here. Great location, very clean apartment, and especially the wonderful host who couldn't do enough for me. Even offered to drive me back to Dolny Kubin for my bus. Exceptional value for money and 10 min walk to restaurants and Orava Castle. I'll definitely stay there again.
The apartment is at a great location within walking distance to the castle, restaurants and grocery stores. We had a very peaceful stay and the hosts were very helpful. They even drove us to the bus station on our way home. We would happily visit again and would recommend this apartment.
