Wonderful accommodations, exceptional dinners...fresh local ingredients, absolutely delicious Slovenian dishes prepared perfectly! Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.

Nice wooden cottage, lovely green and flowered garden with views on the surrounding forested hills. We liked the swimming pool very much, big enough for serious swimming with kids. Good base to explore the area of Ribnica valley, forests of Kocevje and caves. Very friendly hosts living next to the cottage. AC is convenient on hot days. The cottage is new build and nicely decorated with wooden items from the area.
A quiet idyllic little property 10 mins by foot from Ribnica center. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby and really enjoyed having my breakfast out in the little garden. The breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely book again.
