Really enjoyed staying here. It was a lovely quiet spot very convenient to the bus & a short walk or local bus ride to the Caves. The hostess spoilt us with chocolates & biscuits & also responded quickly to messages on booking.com. It was great that we could easily drop off our luggage before check-in. We had use of a fridge which was great. We felt very welcomed here & very comfortable. Very much recommend this place. Very nice not rushing away after the castle & cave trips.

The location is perfect, only 20 mins on foot to Postojna cave. The room was ok, comfortable beds, clean and quietly, even the location is located on main street. It’s good price value you’re get for transiting Slovenia for 1-2 nights. Definitely I’ll book again ☺️

Very close to the Postojna caves. Easy check in and check out. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant. The rooms included everything we needed. Would recommend this property to anyone needing a nice, clean and nearby place to stay when visiting the caves.

We got off to a bad start. It was pouring with rain. And I had to stand outside for four minutes or so, while a friend of the owner came down. We spoke through the window - what took him so long to come down to let me in I’ll never know. I was completely soaked. There was no parking available where they said there was. The room is very tight, especially for the person going to the far side of the bed. Our room was right on the street just a few feet away from passing cars. And the write up about the Hotel said there was a welcome wine or champagne. We certainly never saw that. We were also cold because we came in so wet. In fact we slept fully dressed to keep warm. Wifi was very spotty and came in and out. Yes there is a TV but don’t expect Netflix options. We were able to watch a movie on the regular TV channel.
On the plus side, When I couldn’t get into the WiFi, the owner did come by fairly quickly.

A lovely guest house with a very good system to accommodate guests with access to the kitchen and fridge. I would certainly stay there again when in Slovenia. The host was very friendly and we had a nice chat after breakfast. Recommended for motorcyclist, cyclists and hikers. But generally for all travellers.
We enjoyed our stay in quiet Rakak at Guesthouse Furman. The room was just as it was advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked well and the pizza restaurant on site had great food. We definitely would stay here again.
Great location not far from the motorway and Postojna. Exceptional hosts - they were looking after us all the time while we were there, very warm and accommodating. The ability to have a meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was one of the reasons for booking a room in the first place.

The interior seemed still new. Price-value was great. The host was very helpful and prepared a great lunch package. Don't miss the mushroom soup.
