The raving reviews did not exaggerate. Breakfast is not the usual open buffet deal. When we arrived at the hotel for our first meal, we were given a table and that was our table for the whole stay! It was set for us every time we came down. In the morning as we sat down the chef came to our table and asked what we usually liked for breakfast. Eggs, continental, etc. We weren't sure, so he gave us choices, and we picked the scrambled eggs which were delicious, but the table is also set with 3 types of honey, 3 types of jam, salami, ham, cheese assortment, everything locally sourced. The next day we were greeted with a set table with steaming hot pancakes and nutella :) Dinner is also excellent. My preteen kids made sure I tell the chef personally that this was their best hotel experience ever, by far.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
A lovely family run resort and a great introduction to slovenia and its people. Very local. Excellent location. Great food. Very clean rooms. It was super quiet for the first 3 days however extremely noisy the last 4 nights unfortunately.
The best accomodation in Slovenia. You are in 1400 meters over the sea, cozy room with all equipment you need. Breakfast are continental buffet constantly replenished. The host was very helpful. He gave up tips where to go or not because we were in Slovenia in floods season. 11/10 We will come back.
The location is beautiful and fit for relaxing walks. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped and the host is very friendly and helpful. For sure a place to return to.

Very nice apartament, with a beautiful view of Poljane village and surrounding landscape. The apartament is quite large and well equipped. Good option for families or a group of friends. And at last but not least a very kind host.
Great location if you want to tour Slovenia, or if you want a quiet holiday away from the crowds, and the city, in a beautiful clean natural environment. Apartment is equipped with everything you need.
The hosts are wonderful, they welcomed us with wonderful homemade cakes. Mrs. Vita is very pleasant and helpful.
