Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared a good start to the day. Rooms are comfortable with WiFi and air conditioning in a great location within the country. The host makes your stay very pleasant and relaxing a real home-from-home experience. I would definitely stay again given the opportunity.

The hotel, simple but charming, slightly old fashioned which added to the charm, is located close to the railway station (which was important for us) and also not far away from some of Slovenia's famous caves. The staff speaks English fluently, was helpful, friendly and flexible. Breakfast was very good.

We had the attic in The Villa. lovly view from the terrace .We arrived late at night so had dinner there which was amazing and a relaxed night after a long drive from Rome .Breakfast was very good also.would love to visit again .very clean .speak good english

We were here for the 7th year in a row on our way to Croatia. Everything is always super clean. Igor always gives a great service. Great food. A beautiful quiet place. We are already looking forward to the next trip and stay in Podgorje :-)
The rooms are now installed with an electronic lock. Perfect! And... the room now had air conditioning, which is very nice in high temperatures.

The Guest House is close to Croatia and Italy, and also the Slovenian coast. The best is that there is also a restaurant downstairs so you don't need to worry about finding one nearby. The AC works great.
The owner Mr. Igor is a great and friendly man.

I was very satisfied with my vacation in Podgorje, my daughter and I saw the sights of the Karški rob and climbed Slavnik. Apartment offers everything you need, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a commode bathroom and a beautiful terrace. The right place for total disconnection. Very kind and helpful hostess. We will certanly come back.
It's a lovely guest house located beneath a mountain and a great starting/ending point for hiking. There are many peaks in the near to hike to with great views towards Trieste, Koper and Croatia. Delitious homemade brakfast. The host very kind and hospitable. I even got offered a ride to Koper after a public transport failure. A great stay!
We have been coming to Pod Slavnikom for a number of years for an overnight stop on our way to Croatia. The place is perfect, quiet and Igor and his father always arrange an excellent dinner for us after arrival.
The room is clean and spacious. Parking is no problem.
We will definitely come back next year.
