Amazing staff, host was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Room was immaculate and supremely comfortable. Very easy to find, check in to and out of. Can't rate more highly, especially for the price. Plates/bowls etc available made a surprisingly helpful touch. Normally don't go back to the same place twice but will definitely be booking again.
In our 7 different, always surprising rooms, you will find one thing above all: yourself. Vila Alice Bled - Adults only is a protected 19th century landmark positioned just 180 metres from the lake.

Vila Alice was perfect in so many ways! It is extremely attractive on the exterior and full of character on the interior. We chose it because of its close proximity to Lake Bled and other attractions. The Vila suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated, the balcony was great to take in the view. On our last day, we shared a hamper from a local farmer for an indulgent and fresh breakfast . It was a great way to start the day and end our adventure. Our gracious host Alice greeted us with such welcome. Upon learning we had gotten engaged on the trip, she surprised us with a few handmade goods as tokens to commemorate the trip. We will treasure these memories and look forward to making a return visit.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The room was extremely pleasant and attractive, with a great view of the castle and the rock on which it stands from the balcony in clear weather.
The room has absolutely everything from little things in the kitchen to slippers that can be taken in the corridor outside the room.
You feel at home in this house, where everything is at hand and every detail is thought out. Another nice bonus is of course the washing machine downstairs, which you can use.
A nice bonus is that the hosts have homemade wine, liqueurs and schnapps, which you can buy by putting money in the place where you took the wine. The white wine with the fish was perfect.
The owner responded to all messages and requests for heating, as it was already quite cold.

Everything was great. The communication was smooth and the room had everything we needed. It’s also close to the lake and has free parking.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The place was well located, clean, quiet, very cute, and the host was absolutely lovely. If I'm ever back in Slovenia, I'll definitely stay here again. :) It was easy to take the bus from here to Lakes Bled and Bohinj and save some money at the same time as the accommodation can be quite expensive closer to the lakes.
Pension is conveniently located for exploring Bled and Bohinj, close to the motorway. It's quiet, rooms are quite large, have the required necessities. Good breakfast.
The guesthouse exceeded all our expectations. The location is amazing, it is very peaceful with beautiful scenery, yet it is easy to explore around. The hosts were extremely welcoming and nice, and they made our stay even better. We are looking forward to staying here again.
The setting is beautiful and it is very quiet. There is a supermarket very nearby, a lovely garden, it is close to bus stops and the railway station. The apartment is bright and has good facilities for a short stay. The hosts live upstairs and were friendly, but also left us to it, which was the right balance.
The hostel is in a nice area, it's a quiet town outside of Bled and there are shops and restaurants easily within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, I would say that the room was pretty warm as there is no air conditioning and I think it's important to mention that the church right beside the hostel has a loud bell, although this seems to be very common in Slovenia. Breakfast is 3 euros and it comes with toast, jam, boiled eggs, juice, and fruit (well worth it in my opinion!)
The hosts were very helpful about activities in the area. It's nice that you can add a cheap breakfast (3€+coffee) to your booking and that you have the possibility to rent bikes at the hostel. The room was very basic but everyone has access to a well equipped kitchen. They have multiple clean bathrooms, so that it feels very private.
The location is very nice and quiet and Ivana is a great host. Not only did she take good care of us, but we also enjoyed her company. The apartment is spacious and has two nice balconies with a view of the mountains.
Second stay. Good comfortable apartment with shared kitchen and laundry facilities. On site parking in a good, quiet location just outside Bled. Great hosts and good WiFi
