A very quiet place in the mountains, ran by a very sweet lady-host. Absolutely suitable for people wanting to spend some time away from the civilization. The whole area radiates old-school vibes (both in- and out-side) with tons of collectibles & memorablia displayed around. There are two outdoor bars ran as self-service facilities (with e.g. coffee and tea available to all), and also many places to sit around and enjoy the views of the town below and country around - well, when not enjoying the swimming pool.
Besides the house we stayed in (with a few more guest rooms), there are also a bunch of glamping facilities, ideal for couples (we met one there). LbnL there are horses (we've seen three right in the areal) and a few more animals slightly below it (we've seen a family of goats and a herd of deer). Very relaxing & very pleasant stay.
Krivograd Guesthouse offers accommodation in Prevalje, 5 km from the Austrian border. It is a family run hotel and pets are welcome.

Excellent apartment, very clean, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast, plenty of parking space. For me it was a huge bonus that I could get my morning coffee at 6.30.

Wonderful hotel furnished in an old-fashioned style. Even the breakfast was served in that style, and what a breakfast it was! The selection was impressive. Additionally, we had dinner here as well, which was good. We stayed here with our bikes for a stopover.
