Please read the review as it maybe pertinent to your stay. The apartment is located uphill,with a very steep slope. You will have to carry the bags for almost 50 metres ( on a steep slope) from the car parking space. Having said that, the apartment itself is wonderful, and well equipped. It has breath taking views of the ocean. Has a nice garden as well. The hosts are lovely and try to make your stay comfortable. A good location if you plan to visit beaches of south Mahe.
Located just a 10-minute drive from the Anse Aux Pins and Turtle Bay Beaches, Le Manglier features Creole architecture. It offers a shared lounge and kitchen area, as well as a dining room.

I had a lovely stay at Julie's holiday home. I travelled solo and things that I loved:

- Good location in that it was near the bus stops, and a small corner shop to buy essentials. Also 5 - 15 mins away by bus from lovely beaches
- Yummy home cooked breakfasts
- Very kind hosts
- The tours and guides (ask for Clint!) that they recommended were great, especially as I had made no plans prior to arriving
Really great location, beaches right across the street and lovely sounds of the ocean from the room. Great parking space on site. Close to Takamka Distillery (nice for an outing), nice restaurants nearby. Henri was a great host, really helpful with recommendations on car rental, places to go and things to do. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Mama Julie and Papa Barry are amazing hosts. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and was super-clean. A comfortable large room, a big bathroom with a good shower, great and delicious fresh prepared breakfasts with different kinds of fruits. If you stay in Julie's home you will be treated like at home.
Nice house in a pretty village. Ocean view. Very quiet, there are large trees on the site. There is a store nearby that has almost everything. Paule and Paul are wonderful hosts, we felt great sympathy for them. We received excellent recommendations on vacation-related issues. Yes, this is the second time we have chosen this villa. Of course, you need a car so that your vacation is not monotonous.
The host Matthew is super welcoming and helpful. We were lucky to have fresh fruits (mango, papaya, coconut), he got us around and showed what to explore nearby and what to buy. Amazing view from the apartments, the beach is approx 5 min walk - very beautiful and romantic one. The apartment was very spacious. It's tidied and meticulously cleaned. Matthew was always willing to help and answer all the questions, and was kind enough to drive us back to airport on departure. Super nice host and apartment, highly recommend.
Wonderful hospitality from Matthew including fresh fruit, spotlessly clean, great views, effective WiFi, quiet location with lovely views and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Everything worked well.
The space and the equipment of the apartment were extraordinary. All you need for a nice stay is provided, even a washing machine. The area is nice and quiet. Juliana is an excellent host!
A well stocked supermarket is just around the corner and there a take always as well. We didn’t have a car, but this not a problem. Anse Royale is very accessible by bus. The Takamaka destillery is a 15 min walk away.
