I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Forest Lodge. Stephen was able to accommodate my request for an early check in and also helped arrange a pick up from the airport. Both him and Alam were friendly and welcoming. The property is located a short (but generally uphill) walk away from the main road and a bus stop, but for me, even though I didn't drive, it was very manageable, and I enjoyed the relative peace and quiet, as well as the opportunity to observe nature (e.g bulbuls and flying foxes) from my balcony, while also enjoying the convenience of easy access to the bus to town / Beau Vallon (you can walk there as well in maybe 15-20 min). The room itself is very spacious for a solo traveller, and the balcony was very roomy as well.

Very nice apartment, with really everything you need, even a washing machine (and soap for it). Everything was clean and it is very comfortable. There were 2 bottles of water in the fridge for us. I don't remember the name of the very nice guy that was waiting for us (I am sorry fot that) and helped us booking taxis, recommendation of restaurants, money exchange. The location is perfect for Beau Vallon, only some steps to the beach (I think, less than 50 meters), close to good restaurants and shops. We loved the beach, perfect to swim and to walk around, white and soft sand, no need to wear shoes to enter the water. If would definetely stay here again!

Stephen the owner is a great host. The staff were exceptional. A huge thank you to Alum and Suzon. They would have cleaned my room everyday if I allowed it. They were always friendly, helpful and generous. The photos do not do any justice, the rooms are better and cleaner than they look. WiFi was very good and location 20min walk to the beach. The area felt safe. As a woman this was important as I walked around a lot by myself.

If you are looking for a nice, clean, modern appartment with a lovely swimming pool in a quiet area and nice hosts then this is the one. There is a lovely beach nearby and a grocery store too.

Communication with the host Was very good from the beginning! The house is situated at a small but nice beach. Very nice garden with a lot of nature and possibility to relax. The house is very well equiped! Bed is very comfortable. Quiet place. Wilta is a heard of a soul! She even cooked a nice dinner for my husbands birthday! Thank you so much again! This place is highly recomendet! If we are coming back we will defnetly check in again!
Joeanne is an excellent host we highly recommend We stayed with her for almost a week, where she made sure we had a wonderful time with e. g. fresh fruits from her garden. The apartment is beautiful. It's safe and quiet. There is a supermarket close by. The kitchen has everything you need and it's under 10 minutes to the beach.

Lovely quiet apartment on the top floor with an amazing view of the sea and the mountains. Excellent amenities, air con working great, huge balcony, wi-fi. Great location, about 5-10 min walk to the Beau Vallon beach. Small groceries shop next door with a nice pizza takeaway. Brilliant host, very friendly and helpful, she gave me a free late checkout and some java apples. I'd definitely stay here again.
The place is near an almost always empty clean Bel Ombre beach, and 20 minutes walk away from Beau Vallon beach, in a quiet and green location. The interiors are very nice and cozy, with all the kitchen stuff you might casually need. The host, Jerry, is super helpful, the chalet was cleaned regularly. Jerry brought fresh fruit almost every day. It was an exceptionally pleasant stay
