JR is an amazing host, super friendly and helpful, i.e., he'd help us plan our trip and organise activities. The flat is nice, simple but clean and you have everything you need. You can walk into town from there, which takes around 30 minutes. There is free parking at the property. We would definitely stay here again!
Nothing, never got to stay there. The host kept moving us around according to what suited him. And then cancelled my booking because I was not satisfied with his option. It was my worst experience using Booking com.
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Island Home. We had to spend one night in Honiara because of a flight rescheduling from Air Vanuatu and it’s safe to say we couldn’t have spend it any better. Junior and Janet were amazing hosts. They took us around so we could get cash out, went for drinks and even a kava bar. Our accommodation was comfortable and even had a kitchen, which is super useful! We only came to Honiara for a layover but now we want to come back and see the Solomon Islands. And when we do, we will happily stay here again!
Rooms had the facilities as required - comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities. We were very grateful for effective air conditioning! Quiet and perfectly adequate.
It was pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. Convenient for our purpose
