The pension is a great option in the area close to Sarmisegetuza, Rausor, Manastirea& Cetatea Colt. The accommodation is very modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a family suite and overall enjoyed our stay. It has a large parking place, great breakfast ( variate and delicious) and great staff. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and we loved the food, atmosphere and the serving. The design is pretty spectacular and it is a great place for dinner/ lunch. Thank you!

I was extremely pleased with my stay at Pensiunea Sarmis in Sarmizegetusa, Romania! The room was very cozy, clean and warm, which made my holiday even more enjoyable. The water in the bathroom was always warm, which is important for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the free pool, which was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The only downside was that the sauna was chargeable, but that didn't detract from my overall impression of the hotel.
Everything at Pensiunea Sarmis is done with attention to detail and style, the interior is all wood and looks very beautiful and authentic. The tavern is simply amazing - with the style of a hunting lodge, filled with furs and elements from nature, which creates a cozy and unique atmosphere. I had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back!

The host does not speak English but had a translation app ready, which was sufficient.

The host is very nice, he served coffee every morning. He helped us grill the meat and make the fire. Even if he does not speak in English and only speaks in German a little bit, he always tried to help and he used google translate on a very effective way :) Anyway if you are looking for a nice and quite place with very friendly host, close to the mountains, choose Casa Lidia :)
I stayed only 1 night. I was coming down from Retezat mountains one day earlier so I booked a room late evening. The hosts reacted quickly, gave me indication and...gave me some food considering is so late and there was nothing opened around. I am very happy to find such a nice people. Thank you for everything and I hope to come back again some day!
If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy, this is the perfect place for you. You can enjoy the beautiful garden, make a barbecue or read a book. The rooms are perfect and super clean. The owners are wonderful and friendly people who will make you feel at home. We highly recommend this place 🙌🍀
Everything was fine, amazing territory with possibility to sit near the river and enjoy view. Good host, we forgot something after check out and they found it and sent to us by post.
