The property has an bigger courtyard than most properties in the village which is great when you travel by car. The location is amazing for all the trips we did in the Nera national park. Nice, cozy place. The room was ok, very clean everywhere, friendly hostess. Parking was also ok, we had a small kitchen, coffe, tea, fridge. There is also a little yard where we had coffee in the morning. TV cable, good choice of chanels too.

Great food, the best I had eaten at a restaurant in a long time, everything was so fresh and very well cooked. The staff was more than welcoming, the owner treated us like friends or even like family, as though we were his guests not his clients, we felt at home and it was an awesome experience for us. It is located close to the main sightseeing spots: Șușara Watterfall, only 1,5 h on foot from Casa Montana; the Nera Monastry; the entrance to the Natural Park, where you can go to Beușnița Waterfall and Lacul Ochiul Beiului, La Tunele; Nerei Gorges is also close by; when entering the small town there is also a spot where you can bathe.

Lovely location, wholesome host and quite a fine blend between refurbished traditional furniture and modern facilities. The yard was small but absolutely gorgeous. There is a terrace that happened to be our favorite spot, since it was so cozy and cool.
The host is a lovely lady, who is super kind and helpful. She even helped us get some freshly made caș (traditional cheese) from one of the neighbors.

The accommodation is great. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable, there is a wood-burning stove in every room, and the kitchen has all the dishes. It is very peaceful and quiet, and a mountain river flows next to the house. It is an excellent starting point for visiting the national park. There is a supermarket about 15 minutes away by car, where you can find everything you need in terms of groceries. The owners are very friendly and are there for all your questions.
Great location in peace, good starting point for hiking. Cottage has everything you need. Host is really nice with qiuck respond on every problem or question.
We were here in winter, and the cottage has only wooden stove for heating ( no electric heating), so it took some time to warm up the house every time we came back from hike. But it was no problem for us, :)
I can imagine, how good clima in the house can be during hot summer, plus in the summer you can enjoy sitting in the courtyard.
