Our host, Maria, was exceptional! She was very kind and attentive to our needs.
Maria's yard is a dream come true for families with children. It boasts of two comfortable hammocks, swings that hang from the shady walnut tree, and a gazebo that provides ultimate privacy. The house is situated in a serene location, making it a perfect spot to relax. Maria's pets, consisting of two friendly cats, gentle puppies, and a lovely pony, add to the charm of the place.
We were full of energy and feeling great, and we delved further into the essence of the location when Maria arranged a dinner evening at the sheepfold, and we also observed the sheep being milked.

Very authentic Romanian decor, beautiful and spacious cabin, the fireplace I bet is amazing when it’s cold out, love the swing also, full kitchen & even a grill outside (shared with others). Very nice and helpful hosts, came to greet us, and to check out- even offered to ship a pair of sunglasses that I forgot, very nice people! Close to touristy points of interest.

Food: Wow! Meals were taken in a B&B under same ownership. I was treated to wonderful traditional dinner with local distilled alcohol (I couldn't drink much as I had to drive back to my quarters). Breakfast the next day was also a local feast.
Excellent hosts, great local food. One of the best breakfasts ever (that fits every taste, even for the foreigners that appreciate the fresh fruits in the summer and the home made cakes)

Stunning setting, amazing infinity pool, cozy warm ambiance, helpful staff. Great location for visiting the area. Fresh trout cooked any way one wants in the restaurant, and the best desert (papanasi) ever.
Almost Everything was superb: rustic/charming facilities and ground, amazing food, excellent service and staff. Very cool swimming pools (indoor/outdoor) with wet bar and fantastic views. And did I mention the food?
