Great location on the lake shore, very secluded. Good size room with views to the lake. Everything was functional and clean. The owners were very attentive to all the little details and requests we had. We had a gorgeous dinner and breakfast at the property. It felt like the perfect weekend getaway.

Easy to find, right on the route, parking in the backyard, beautiful view on the mountain and lake, children amenities (trampoline, swing, playing ball, hamac in the trees), restaurant on site with kind and flexible stuff, 2 rooms with comfy beds, renovated bathroom and clean. Really liked that from the first day we mentioned we were vegan the staff made special meals for us which got better and better as time went on without us requesting to do so, every meal was a surprise and the staff were very friendly with us. Very relaxed atmosphere and we felt welcomed.

The property is very conveniently situated in proximity to climbing the mountain Ceahlau. Only a hundred meters away from its location GOING EAST one can take and go up STRADA DURAUS all the way to the road AXIAL then go left on the road for two hundred meters or so to the access road to CABANA FÂNTÂNELE then to the summit TOACA . This is a lesser known route which I used successfully to access the mountain from the east a few times
