The staff was amazing and we loved them. We arrived late in the night and they waited for us. Also they let us check out at 12:00 to let us get some rest after the long journey from Montenegro. They made breakfast for us in the morning and it was delicious and also cheap. The rooms were verg comfy and nice, I liked the shower and beds. I would recommend this place. If the pool would be bigger, I would come again just because is very quiet and a very nice place with a great view

The host of the place is exceptionally good in communication; I've just finished booking, when my phone rang and got connected with him. He gave great advices on what to see, where to go -according to my preferences. The house is build on a wonderful spot; one can get one of the best view above the Iron Gate, on the island of Orsova; all this can be done even from a pool. Just to mention a tiny detail also; binoculars. Going up to the caffee-area, which is the highest point in the facility, you can find a binocular for looking around. Small detail, but it tells a lot. Definitely suggesting Casa Clau if you want the best stay in Orsova.

The scenery right on the river gorge is stunning. There is a pool in the back, which the kids enjoyed. You can also simply sit and relax in the back yard or have family talks, as we did. The hosts are very friendly and clearly very proud of their establishment. There are good restaurants in the vicinity, but better accessible by car.
Great room with a balcony and view. Directly by the beach, very close to sightseeing destinations. We planed to stay 1 night, but stayed 2, that says it all.

Small room but it was ok overall
AC and fridge was nice to have. Very hot summer, so it was nice to have something cold to drink and have the room cool.

I loved staying at this place. The room was cozy, kitchen and bathroom were clean. Most of all, Razvan was a great host. He organized a boat trip for me and went on a cave tour with me. He is knowledgeable and friendly and I had a great time!
