The location was good and the rooms were lovely, there were also kitchen facilities on the last floor that everybody could use.
The host was wonderful, very polite and helpful. She found solutions to everything that we needed, from the beginning, with our early check-in, and everything else, including the fact that she managed to bring a big mirror for us, that we needed for dressing up for the wedding we went to (the actual reason for our visit there).

I was traveling by car and half way through my trip I got an email from my host Claudia telling me that they cant accomodate me because the heating was broken. She then booked me in another accomodation at the same price which was great.
As I was driving I didnt have time to try and find another accomodation, but Claudia did that for me.

The host of the place is exceptionally good in communication; I've just finished booking, when my phone rang and got connected with him. He gave great advices on what to see, where to go -according to my preferences. The house is build on a wonderful spot; one can get one of the best view above the Iron Gate, on the island of Orsova; all this can be done even from a pool. Just to mention a tiny detail also; binoculars. Going up to the caffee-area, which is the highest point in the facility, you can find a binocular for looking around. Small detail, but it tells a lot. Definitely suggesting Casa Clau if you want the best stay in Orsova.

After two vacations in Romania and staying at 8 different places, this might be the best place we've been at. The apartment is close to the city center, and has easily available parking spots. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and bars nearby.
The place is nicely furnished and clean, feels homely, and has all necessary comforts for one to enjoy their stay. The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming, and she even took time to write in our own language when needed. We'll gladly stay there again.
Everything was perfect. The location is probably the best you can find. Free parking, city centre, free wifi. Apartment is very clean, very cosy, everything is in it's place. Hosts welcomed me and my friends as agreed on exact location on exact time. My highest recommendation for booking.
It was an overnight stay, so the location was important to us as it is on the main road, but set back making it quiet. The hosts were lovely, they helped us out and stayed up chatting to us about life like old friends in the garden. A very relaxed place to stay, clean and well maintained.
