It was a wonderful guesthouse and a great place to stay at the beginning or end (depending which way you are going) of the Transfagarasan Highway. Violeta was a very kind and gracious host. She had been busy making zacusca and gave us some to try along with some home made liquors. Her breakfast (additional) of home made jams, bread, and home grown veggies/ fruit as well as ham etc was delicious. Coffee and capuchino was wonderful too.

Wonderful location near river and forest, very quiet place with nice spacious territory and lovely ponies, there are several swings and chute for kids, so our son was happy. The room was quiet small but we stayed only one night, so for us it was perfect. Very friendly helpful host helped us with all we asked for.

Our host was perfect, very hlepful and kind. The location is quiet and ideal for those who want to visit Poienari fortress, Stan Valley and Vidraru dam and start Transfagaras, and maybe see some bears.
A great location for those who want to relax and travel around Transfăgărășan and other interesting places in central romania. Wonderful views, quiet location, spacious villa with a large terrace, closed area around the villa where your pet can walk. The villa has an attractive interior with various authentic devices that are used as decoration. In short, a great place and i will definitely come back here next season😍
