We stayed here for 1 night before going on the Transfăgărășan road (which is beautiful). The room was not too big but was ok for a family of 4 for 1 night. There's a big parking lot just outside. There's a Bar on the ground floor but we did not hear any noise during the night. There's a restaurant on the top floor where we had dinner (which was great), breakfast is a-la-carte and our kids did not find anything to eat so we opted for grabbing some pastries in the Saga bakery which is a 5-minute drive away. The staff was nice and accommodating.

This small pensione is delightful, calm, tranquill gardens, a lovely patio eating area, nice rooms. The hosts are excellent, welcoming and friendly. Food was great.
The small wooden cabin was very cozy and comfortable, quiet enough and had everything you need (a small fridge, a table inside and outside, a TV, hair dryer, etc). The host was also very nice, responsive to messages and made sure we are good. The location is great, just outside of the small village of Cartisoara, on the famous Transfagarasan road.
Nice, quiet place in the mountains. We visited in February during off season, so we were the only guest in the hotel and maybe even in the whole area which was so peaceful.
Room was great, host super kind (doesnt speak English but that was not needed). We even got coffee offered in the morning during check-out. He also has two wonderful kind dogs that will welcome you with open arms.
The cottage is in a beautiful and quiet mountain area, close to the Bâlea Waterfall (Cascada Bâlea) (15 min by car) where the cable car starts, which takes you up to the Bâlea Lake.
Very nice room, superb shower and bathroom, has a shared kitchen. It also has a porch with chairs to sit and relax and a grill area, which we did not use as it was winter. The host is very kind and helpful, they live in the house next to the cottage.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming pension nestled in the heart of a picturesque mountain town. While my overall experience was delightful, I must admit that the absence of a balcony with a view to the mountains was a minor disappointment.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The pension exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The room I stayed in was clean, well-appointed, and offered all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Amazing location, there is a river running in the front of the house 🥰 You wake up in this heaven, so quiet and green, it’s amazing! It’s just next to Transfagaran, near Sibiu, you have plenty to do nearby. Also, you have the possibility to do a barbecue or relax in the heated tub outside, by the river. Ms. Svetlana is a great host, careful in regards your needs. Beds were comfortable also, good mattresses and I appreciated the fact they had a balcony.
Great location close to Balea lake, very quiet and clean place. Hosts are really nice couple always willing to help with local tips. Parking in front of the place and great clean kitchen you can use with everything you need (freezer, etc)
