Best of all, I was there for lunch when they were celebrating Mr Dumitru's birthday where they have invited guests. My birthday was the day after Dumitru, so we ended up celebrating our birthdays together! The experience of Romanians' hospitality is definitely a highlight in my trip!

The hotel is located in a picturesque village in Moldova, but still within one hour drive from many touristic places ( monasteries, musea, adventure park). The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. There are many things to do with kids as well. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff very helpful. We were 12 people between 12-86 and everyone enjoyed the stay. Many many thanks!

The place is nice and clean, and it was very warm. The host is very accommodating. She made a fire for us, and cooked us delicious fish(which was also cheap). She also made us pancakes for free. They were delicious.
The view was magnificent and breathtaking, near the mountains. The accomodation was ok comparing to the price we paid for and very clean. It was placed near the main street, so I would recommend it for the travelers who are in transit and need a place to sleep before taking an adventure in the mountains. However if you decide to camp, there is a specific spot in the garden, wilder and away from the street sounds.
The host is a great cooker and we ate something fresh, traditional and with a lot of taste. Delicious.
The view is fabulous and the fact that is quite remote from the others it gave us privacy. There are many things to do in Ciocãnesti, especially for the ones who love hiking.I would recommend coming by car since the place lacks restaurants and many others touristic objectives are pretty far. The host and hostess would help you as much as they can, being very friendly.
