A great place designed with so much good taste and incredible attention to details. The owners were so welcoming and fun and we felt spoiled with a breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. The location is beautifully placed between two lakes and so close to Suior ski lift. The view from our bedroom was really refreshing with forest and lake view. I strongly recommend!

The hosts were warm and friendly and managed to overcome our language barrier with grace and good humour. They offered coffee when we arrived and home made Horica as soon as we sat down. The room was spacious, clean and so comfortable - the best bed in over a month of different hotels/pensiones! The ensuite bathroom was spotless. And the handmade embroidered wall hangings were simply beautiful. We were offered dinner for 50RON pp and it was a delicious 3 course traditional meal. This pensione is located in the traditional Romanian village of Breb in the mountains of Maramures. There is only a very weak internet signal but you will not miss it. A wander around the village and you will be so glad you switched off.

Wonderful hosts for this upstairs apartment which was very clean, well equipped and had access to a beautiful yard with eating area, play area and plenty of shade. Also, a rare thing for Romania, spring water which means you don't have to buy bottled.
The hosts are very friendly and they are genuinely interested in the countries of the persons who come and stay. We had a great time chit chatting and sharing experiences.
We travelled with our 2 boys (3 and 6).
The staff went above and beyond to ensure we have a most relaxing stay.
I couldn't recommend Arts and Crafts Guesthouse highly enough!

The view is amazing, the house is very well equipped, from the barbeque and the terrace, to the rooms that each has its own bathroom. It is a very quiet and peaceful area and, as a bonus, you can feed the foxes around. The host was super welcoming, he's the kind of person you'd definitely want to have a beer with. We can't wait to see how this place looks in the summer, so we'll definitely come back!
