Extremely conducive environment. Very peaceful and quiet. Excellent proximity to Piton de la Fournaise. The villa is huge and heating was good in the bedrooms. The fireplace added a special touch to the warmth of the house. Kitchen is well equipped with some condiments available for cooking. A washing machine is available but it will be perfect if a laundry rack is provided. The hosts could not speak English but communication was still manageable via an app translator.
Alice and Meteen are great hosts that give great recommendations for exploring the area, restaurants etc.
The breakfast is amazing and includes homemade cakes, juice and jams.
They invited the guests to a shared local dinner that Alice cooked - great food with warm atmosphere and a great chance to get to know new people. The room is well decorated and equipped and the location is very nice with great view.
BTW they both speak fluent English, that really impacted our great experience (not a common thing in Reunion island )
The hosts were very welcoming and you could see the attention to detail that went into everything. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, and the location is close to the restaurants and shops of the city centre.

Guesthouse well located for the excursion to the volcano and for the surrounding hikes. We were very well received by Christine and her husband. They made us feel right at home. The hosts were very attentive and offered us breakfast and dinner. Everything was very cosy. We played pool in the evening in the outdoor living room while enjoying the sunset. Do not hesitate, the value for money is very good!
