We like the place a lot. The house is managed by Paul and Lydia, the kindest we have met.
They welcomed us every day we stayed with an aperitif in the sun set. Paul took us to the beginning of the piton de neiges. We highly recommend this stay in cilaos.

The location is key when you are going to visit Piton de la Fournaise. The host accepted later checkout however they had another guests. I love the equipment of this accomodation.
This was probably one of the most creative and well-designed properties we have ever stayed in. Everything was brand new. It gave us the perfect location to explore the area; enjoy the Pas de Bellacombe, the Belvedere de Bois and many others. The hosts were really keen to help us with our itinerary also. It is also in a quite rural setting so very peaceful also.
It is a very nice rural house with beautiful views. Rooms are well equipped and clean. The common place where you can have a drink or eat together with other guests is very nice. Hosts are welcoming and are making sure you receive what you paid for. Included breakfast is good and is served for you very early (in a common space on 2nd floor) if you want to hike the volcano early.
Atmosphere. Very warm and friendly hosts who made you feel at home.
