It was a real pleasure to stay here, and after just one day, I felt like one of the family! I tried in portuguese to say there was no hot water but, by their reaction, I thought I'd got it wrong and said something like the bed was on fire! Needless to say, the minor problem was immediately sorted.
The room was fantastic, modern and clean. I can not understand why other people have not given it 5*****.

I loved everything! It’s not the first time that we stay in this accommodation and we are always well received. Ester is a great hostess, very friendly and nice and tries to accommodate you the best she can. The room was nice and the decor was modern with a bit of tradition, it’s was great. Everything was spot clean and smelling very nice. The breakfast was amazing with homemade and local products. The location is amazing because you can park right outside and you can walk pretty much everywhere (to the castle, to the spa, to the restaurants, the city garden).

Ruben and his family were fantastic hosts. Location was great. We ate at the local restaurant run by the hotel and it was excellent.

Lovely location with wonderful views out across vineyards. Very quiet … and if you like your wine, then Mr Manuel, the owner will take you on a tour of his wine production facilities… helping you to decide which bottle to choose to accompany your evening meal.
I have now stayed here twice. Once in a superior room - fantastic. and once in a standard room - good apart from the shower curtain. But its a fantastic building in a great location and the owner is really friendly. If you have paid ahead you only need the code to get into the house and to your room. This is all supplied via WhatsApp - very sensible.
Maria and Manuel are fabulous hosts, we drank the wine made on the vineyard made by Manuel and Maria cooked a wonderful meal for us each night. Nothing was too much trouble, we enjoyed sitting by the pool and walking in nearby woods.

ALL the staff special mention to Arminda and Sandra were helpful and pleasant Hotel was located in quiet setting and pool pristine Breakfast included in reasonable tariff and we dined in for an evening meal Fish and Meat dish order came presented well and large servings soup was offered prior small carafe of vino tinto shared desert and two coffees for 44E with great service

The room was cute, clean, and the pool looked fantastic but the temperature outside was 9⁰C, so maybe next time.
