It's small (I think it was a house once) but within an excellent courtyard. Very clean and the owner is very personable. It's located near the center of Velas near a number of restaurants and the town center and it's close to the water. Has a nice continental breakfast.

The place exceeded our expectations simply because of its host Rui! Maybe the room is a bit too small but Rui is a gem! He suggested some very best sport to visit on Sao Jorge, helped to solve return time issue with car rental company, suggested few really nice restaurants and even booked few taxi rides for us. We simply forgot about all the small inconveniences in the house, becase Rui made us spend a great time in Sao Jorge and if you read this, Rui, thank you very much!

The location and views were beautiful from the property. Definitely want to go back and enjoy this place again. Loved the pool area too! Also Leonardo provided amazing service. Such a kind person. He also makes the best Sangrias.

The view and the location of the bungalows is so beautiful. Minimarket, black sand beach, natural pools and nice restaurants are nearby. But most of all - Filipe is such a great host. He really helped us with everything and we could always contact him with everything kind of issues. So we even decided to prolong our stay and came back a second time. Such a beautiful view! These are whole houses and that makes it so comfortable as a family. There is a bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine - everything really. The guest houses are located on the mountainside above Velas and off we stunning views over the ocean and the neighbouring Pico island. The host of these houses is the friendliest and most helpful lady ever. When asked for an extra heater, she went and got one immediately. She checked in on us a few times to make sure we were comfy and she was sweet and kind to our son.
The place was fantastic. Great location. Nicely renovated rooms with comfortable bathroom. Ana was a perfect host. She gave great recommendations around the island and helped us find a car last minute. She was very helpful with any kind of request we had (booking taxis etc). The hotel has a little terrace with the view if pico.
In some respects feels more like a boutique hotel than a B and B. Beautifully furnished and in a lovely location looking over the sea towards Pico. Lovely breakfast and very clean. Good value for money too. Would certainly recommend. Antonio the host is charming and very helpful.
