My fiancé and I enjoyed a short but wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the hostess went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She was warm, personable, and offered help with everything from arranging transportation to advising us on local must-sees. The accommodations were serene, and quiet. Our room was cozy and clean with a comfortable bed, and reliable wifi. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of options and the dining areas were quaint and charming with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We'd love to go back!

There was no signage on the front of the building. As there was an a picture that was sent to me. My room was at ground level and the interior air conditioning was broken. There was a vent pipe out my open window with no protection. I was traveling alone and this made me very uncomfortable. This information was not disclosed to me ahead of time.

The room was great. Very clean bathroom. Kitchenette and small refrigerator were handy. The Cafe on the 1st floor was great. Location was easy walking to marina and restaurants.

We loved the decor and style of the guesthouse. We came for a destination wedding and the location was perfect for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Could have been a little cleaner but good overall. And a nice bonus is a cute shared terrace! I wish the kitchen was open 24/7 though.

Beautiful property. We were driving and not very comfortable with the roads in the areas that were often very narrow, hilly and one car wide but two directions of traffic driving on them. This location was nice to have a parking lot and home base that was a bit out of the way from Ponta Delgada and the chaotic driving there. In addition to this was very roomy modern and cosy with a comfortable bed and pillows good air conditioning and amazing host that provided us with the most delicious bread cheese butter wine and fruit basket upon our arrival in addition to many recommendations of what to do on the island.

We loved the hotel setting. It looked like an old Convent or religious home. Our room was quite large with twin beds, a living room and table to eat at. The bathroom was large, modern and had 2 si nks.
The upstairs shared living room and breakfast area were lovely and decorated so well...elegant and beautiful. And the breakfasts were great. Eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt and more.
It was easy to park and we could walk to everything in town.

Daniel, our host, was amazing from before our stay til after our stay. He checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was perfect for our family of 5. We each had our own bedroom and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We also enjoyed the common spaces, living room, dining room and the well equipped kitchen. The outdoor terrace was great to relax in the late afternoon/ evenings after a day of sightseeing. Check in and check out was very easy and Daniel was so accommodating to our requests. The house was a great location and we were able to walk to town and restaurants. We would definitely come back to stay at this property.

Everything was just perfect: hosts are extremely nice people who were genuinely interested in us having the best experience possible. Breakfast was served very cute and also it was tasty! I I would definitively shay there next time I'll visit San Miguel.
